Useful Information

HOA Dues:

HOA dues are currently $100 a month/$300 quarterly/$1200 annually.  HOA dues are to be paid on the 1st of each month.  A $10 late fee will incur for dues not paid by the 15th of each month.  We currently use QuickBooks for our accounting.  You will recieve an invoice by email from the Towne Villas which has a link to pay your dues.  You can pay Monthly, Quarterly or Annually. 

 

The Board of Directors will increase dues annually and you will receive a notice by email prior to the increase and the amount.  If it is necessary to increase the dues more than what they are allowed per our By Laws, there will be a vote of the Association.

Trash Piles/Pick-up:

Trash is picked up every Thursday morning.  Trash cans may be set out Wednesday night and must be pulled from the road before Friday morning.  Recycling is picked up every other Friday.  Recycling cans may be set out Thursday night and must be pulled from the road before Saturday morning.  If a trash/recycling pick-up day follows on a holiday, it will be picked up the following day.

 

NO TRASH IS ALLOWED IN THE COMMON AREA!

 

The City of Poquoson allows 1 FREE large trash pick-up per household each year. Any additional pick-ups the city charges $60 each.  Your trash pile must be in your driveway.  You can park in the common area until the pick-up.  If you start a trash pile, it needs to be called into the city at (757) 868-3598 within 3 days.  If you do not call in for a pick-up, you will be fined $200 weekly.  There is also a FREE drop off site for Poquoson residents behind City Hall every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month.
